Academic Pediatric Dermatologist Opportunity

The Kaplan-Amonette Department of Dermatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis is seeking a highly qualified academic pediatric dermatologist to join our team.

This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position (rank to be determined by credentials and experience) that involves a joint appointment with the Department of Pediatrics.

Clinical work will involve both outpatient and inpatient consultation services at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and inpatient consultation privileges at St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital.

We serve a financially and ethnically diverse and often complicated patient population from Memphis and surrounding areas.

Basic Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree and eligibility for full, unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Tennessee
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in pediatric dermatology
  • Fellowship training in pediatric dermatology required
Departmental Preferences:

We seek a candidate with an interest and/or expertise in the management of complex pediatric dermatologic diseases, as well as infectious diseases or skin diseases in immunosuppressed children.

Research opportunities are available at Le Bonheur and St. Jude with start-up funding for the right candidate.

We have a long-standing successful residency program, and all faculty are active in resident and medical student education.
