About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using electronic medical records and other documentation tools.
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
- Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Prior home care experience preferred.
- Ability to work with various computer software required, and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and ability to work with a diverse population.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.
- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations.
