Certified Respiratory Care Specialist

As a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist, you will deliver essential and advanced respiratory services to patients across all age groups, from infants to seniors, who experience issues related to the cardiopulmonary system. This role operates under the guidance of medical professionals and follows the directives provided by healthcare providers.
In addition to routine care, the specialist will undertake critical responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
- Initiating, managing, and terminating mechanical ventilation
- Performing endotracheal intubation
- Providing airway management
- Participating in cardiopulmonary and trauma resuscitation efforts
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Care Program recognized by the AMA
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- PALS certification (to be obtained within six months of employment)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or RRT Eligible (must achieve RRT status within one year of employment)
