About the Job

We are seeking an Advanced Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System's St. John Hospital, specializing in the Respiratory Intermediate Care department.

Job Description

This role involves providing direct patient care, implementing and monitoring care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Additionally, you will note and carry out physician and nursing orders, assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on location and experience.
