### Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at SteveWorks LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for managing and directing the tasks of all crew members and subcontractors on-site to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.

### Job Summary

As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for:

* Managing and directing the tasks of all crew members and subcontractors on-site
* Ensuring productivity, quality, and safety on the job site
* Communicating effectively with clients, crew, subcontractors, and management
* Supervising and scheduling subcontractors and crew
* Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with company standards
* Maintaining accurate records and paperwork

### Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in residential construction and management
* Excellent rough and finish carpentry skills
* Effective communication skills with clients, crew, subcontractors, and management
* Experience running a crew, scheduling subs, and standing inspections
* Comfort with email communication, spreadsheets, and technology in general
* Effective problem-solving and ability to plan ahead
* Understanding of principles of sustainability, building science, advanced framing, air sealing, water management, and weatherization techniques
* Ability to calculate material takeoffs and order materials
* Budgeting and time tracking; reporting to management
* Track record of running a safe, clean, efficient job site
* Ability to take initiative when needed and show good judgment
* Ability to lead a job site team that is cohesive, mutually respectful, and works well together
* OSHA 10 certification
* RRP and Massachusetts CSL a plus
