We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Luke's Health System in Meridian, Idaho.

About the Role:

The Certified Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in the operating room. This includes preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are properly positioned and draped
  • Maintain a sterile environment by following proper cleaning and disinfection protocols
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Tech in Surgery - Certified (CST-NCCT) by the National Center Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
