  • We are in search of a full-time, fellowship-trained inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist to enhance our services at Archway Physician Recruitment.
  • This role is positioned within an academic framework at the Assistant/Associate Professor level through the College of Medicine, specifically in the Department of Psychiatry.
  • The responsibilities include providing direct inpatient care and leading a multi-disciplinary team that comprises psychiatry residents, internal medicine and family medicine residents, medical students, social workers, nurses, and recreation therapists.
  • In addition, the position entails engaging in scholarly activities, faculty development, patient safety, and initiatives aimed at quality improvement.

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree required.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
