Barnard Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team for the Chimney Hollow Reservoir project in Loveland, CO. As a Construction Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

• Study blueprints, sketches, and building plans to prepare project layouts and determine dimensions and materials required
• Shape and cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
• Verify the trueness of structures using a plumb bob and level
• Assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue
• Operate various tools and equipment, including carpenter's hand tools, power tools, and bench tools

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling objects up to 25 pounds
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, or crawl
• Ability to correctly rig and hoist material
• Ability to tolerate heights without fear
• Ability to maintain balance and stand or walk for long periods
• Ability to work long, irregular, and varied hours, up to 70 hours per week
