Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clean Team Attendant to join our team at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City. As a Clean Team Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, as directed by the Environmental Services Lead.
  • Operate and maintain all types of cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Inspect and clean areas of responsibility, including restrooms, offices, and public areas.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from receptacles and transport them to designated areas.
  • Assist with set up and clean up of events and functions, as directed.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
Working Conditions

The Clean Team Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of crowds, noise, and smoke. The incumbent must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds on an as needed basis.

Requirements
  • Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required.
  • The skills necessary for this position are typically acquired through a minimum of 2 months on the job training or related experience.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

In addition to the other duties described herein, every team member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
  • Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
