Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all suppliers comply with the company's quality standards and specifications.
  • Develop and execute supplier quality enhancement strategies.
  • Conduct supplier audits to verify adherence to AS9100, ISO 9001, and other quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address quality challenges and implement corrective measures.
  • Perform root cause analysis and formulate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and maintain supplier quality metrics and reporting systems.
  • Assess supplier capabilities and track performance metrics.
  • Guarantee supplier compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Draft and uphold supplier quality agreements.
  • Engage in Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Create and maintain quality inspection protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and sustain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans.
  • Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) and Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVI).
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and Six Sigma projects.
  • Stay informed about current industry quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, is required. Additionally, candidates should possess at least three years of experience specifically in Supplier Quality Engineering.
