About the Job

Cornerstone Custom Construction is seeking a skilled Block Layer to join our team. As a Block Layer, you will be responsible for laying block in both commercial and residential projects. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Lay block to exact specifications
  • Assist in training laborers to stay ahead of the block layers in project staging
  • Set bolts and anchor straps in the correct locations
  • Clean surfaces, tools, and surrounding areas thoroughly
Requirements
  • Must be legally able to work in the USA
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 6-12 months experience
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Team Player
Physical Demands
  • Intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and racking
  • Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
