Housekeeping Custodian

Job Summary:

The Janitorial position consists of maintaining a clean and orderly environment by performing various cleaning tasks. Responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping, emptying trash receptacles, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning of high-traffic areas, including vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets.
• Weekly polishing of metal surfaces and glass.
• Daily emptying of trash receptacles in production and office areas.
• Daily dust mopping and wet mopping of all hard surface floors.
• Sweeping or dusting exposed concrete, vinyl, asphalt, rubber, and similar types of flooring daily.
• Cleaning restroom floors with germicidal disinfectant and removing spots and stains daily.
• Cleaning mirrors and disinfecteding water bowls, basins, urinals, and toilet seats daily.
• Filling soap and paper towel dispensers daily.
• Cleaning walls of fingerprints and spots daily.
• Reporting maintenance and safety issues to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and EHS Manager in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Lifting capacity of up to or over 50lbs.
• Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, and walking within an 8-hour workday.
