Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at HVMG, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of room attendants and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, guest areas, and employee areas to assess compliance with established standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.
• Supervise and direct the work of room attendants, providing guidance and feedback to ensure excellent service and quality.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with HVMG's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling staff and forecasting occupancy to ensure efficient labor management.

Requirements

• The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
