Job Title: DevOps Manager

BillingPlatform is a leading SaaS company that offers a cloud-based revenue lifecycle management platform. We're seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to lead our efforts in optimizing infrastructure, improving operational processes, and mentoring a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Management team to design and develop build systems, automation, and processes.
  • Implement and manage operational processes to enhance system performance.
  • Assist in developing technical standards and architecture for cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for technology and business services in operations and cloud delivery.
  • Work with Engineering, Architecture, and Application Development teams to support and enhance operational environments.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering collaboration and effective communication across the organization.
  • Drive the growth and development of employees, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Ensure successful delivery and ongoing support of cloud services in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3+ years leading and developing teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing a DevOps roadmap.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience guiding, coordinating, and supporting direct reports.
  • Experience in security field with SOC and PCI compliance.
  • Maintaining and improving the functionality of automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with problems related to infrastructure systems and performance in Prod/QA/Dev environments.
  • Hands on experience with multi-tenant cloud environments, scaling and infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of best practices in an always-on SaaS environment.
  • Strong AWS background in customer-facing product environment.
  • In-depth Linux and network knowledge.
  • Familiarity with technology including Java, Relational DB, Kafka, Tomcat, Ngynx, Elastic Search, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage and improve processes to ensure efficient cloud operations.
