Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Caregiver to join our team at The Residences at Park Place.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a high level of responsibility, reliability, and empathy. As a Senior Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care services to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, social and recreational activities, and other tasks as needed.

You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Your ability to build strong relationships, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing situations will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and record-keeping.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote resident autonomy, dignity, and comfort.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, care provided, and any concerns or issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatric care required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills essential.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and position residents safely and comfortably.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
