About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address each student's unique communication needs, incorporating a range of intervention strategies and techniques.
- Provide high-quality therapy services, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services, ultimately supporting students' academic and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current California state license or eligibility for licensure, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), demonstrating expertise and professionalism in the field.
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
