Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Care setting, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is designed for new graduate nurses who are eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Schedule:
Full-Time, Rotating Shifts

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the Summer Nurse Residency program, designed to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols and collaborate with a registered nurse.
  • Assist in patient care by observing and documenting healthcare needs, and effectively communicating with the healthcare team.
  • Support the implementation of physician and nursing orders under the guidance of a registered nurse preceptor.
  • Engage in the development and monitoring of patient care plans, actively participating in transition to practice programs to refine clinical judgment and ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Licensure and Certification:
  • Must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to the start date.
A diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure is required at the time of hire.
