Job Summary

As a Fulfillment Pharmacist at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacies. This is a part-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to patients, offering guidance on medication usage and awareness of potential drug interactions.
  • Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
  • Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and enhance patient experience.
  • Engage patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, demonstrating empathy and inclusivity.
  • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain good connections with local medical communities, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software, and technology systems, and insurance.
