OVERVIEW

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve drinks to guests in a friendly and efficient manner, adhering to established recipes and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To excel in this role, you must be able to perform the following duties effectively:

  • Craft cocktails and other beverages using a variety of ingredients.
  • Serve wines and beers, both draft and bottled.
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
  • Maintain an attractive bar display.
  • Prepare garnishes and light appetizers.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks.
  • Comply with company policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests and coworkers.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Adhere to safety and brand standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
  • Understanding of food service regulations.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • TIPS certification is required.
  • Proficiency in mixing common cocktails.
  • Previous bartending experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Quick problem-solving skills to address guest issues.
  • Excellent conflict resolution abilities.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience in a banquet or bartending role is advantageous.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES

TABC certification is required, along with any other local or state-specific requirements.

ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Most tasks will be performed indoors in a controlled environment.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and various environmental conditions may occur.
OTHER

Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as this role may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Consistent attendance is crucial for success in this position.
