We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ortho/Trauma unit at OU Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
About the Role:- Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
- Assist physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently and interact with family and patient in sharing care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge.
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid temporary license or permanent license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse prior to entrance on duty.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
