About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nocturnal APP Hospitalist to join our team at UNC Caldwell, a 137-bed licensed acute care hospital in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Northwestern North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to provide high-quality patient care.
- Focus on teamwork, work-life balance, and flexibility to ensure a healthy and sustainable work environment.
- Utilize standardized documentation and extensive resources to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary duties.
- Work 12-hour shifts, 7 on 7 off rotation, 7p-7a, alongside a Nocturnist MD.
- Opportunities for growth and professional development within the UNC Health System.
- EMR - Epic.
- In-house specialty backup available from Cardiology, Nephrology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Pulmonology, Podiatry, Urology.
- Open ICU with Tele intensivist ICU coverage at night. Procedures optional but not required (training available).
