We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Genesis Global Group. As a key member of our clinical laboratory, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
The ideal candidate will have 9 months of Clinical Laboratory Technician training and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field. In addition to your technical skills, you should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Responsibilities- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures, including accessioning, manual extraction, robotic extraction, RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, pyrosequencing, and micro-biology/cell culture.
- Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- 9-month Clinical Laboratory Technician training
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
