Key Responsibilities
  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare food according to guidelines, using only approved ingredients and processes
  • Handle raw chicken safely and prevent cross-contamination
  • Fry and bake chicken to perfection
  • Work safely around hot oil and follow all safety policies
  • Utilize various utensils and cooking equipment safely
  • Comply with established cooking methods, quality standards, and food safety policies
  • Discard expired or low-quality ingredients and products
  • Stock and maintain sufficient food product levels
  • Assist fellow team members as needed
  • Lift up to 60 pounds
Requirements
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • No computer skills required
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
  • Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat from cooking equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees will be expected to purchase non-slip shoes due to wet, slippery floors.
