Position Overview

The Facility Operations Supervisor is tasked with providing leadership, motivation, and guidance to a dedicated team of cleaning professionals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • No prior experience necessary; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided
  • No educational credentials such as a high school diploma, GED, or college degree are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service
  • At least one year of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct team members effectively
  • Facilitate communication among team members, clients, customers, and management
  • Report any performance-related issues to the Supervisor
  • Assist in training new cleaning staff
  • Coordinate work assignments efficiently
  • Help create daily and weekly work schedules
  • Oversee and execute cleaning tasks within the designated facility
  • Manage the security of keys and access cards for the premises
  • Submit maintenance work orders as needed
  • Ensure the premises are secured at all times
  • Collaborate with the Manager to schedule jobs with the Property Manager and cleaning crew
  • Monitor the quality of work and confirm completion with the Manager
  • Provide training for all new hires assigned to the facility
  • Conduct weekly checks on supplies, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
  • Complete order forms accurately and thoroughly
  • Coordinate the usage and inventory of equipment

This position is ideal for individuals entering the workforce or those returning with limited experience and education. ABM is a military-friendly employer, encouraging veterans and candidates with military backgrounds to apply.
