Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team at Spee-Dee Delivery. As a CDL LTL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck to deliver and pick up palletized freight and/or large shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working order
  • Deliver palletized freight in a timely manner to customers and pick up freight from shippers
  • Verify load-related documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Collect payments for shipments as necessary
  • Maintain certifications required by DOT and company safety policies
  • Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pick up as needed
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission
  • Doubles/triples endorsement
  • Good customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions
  • Pass a DOT physical and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work with all types of freight
