Position Title: School Psychologist

Soliant is in search of a committed and skilled School Psychologist to become part of our team in the Westmont, IL region. This full-time, onsite role is designed for the academic year. We are seeking a professional who is dedicated to fostering students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and formulate suitable intervention strategies.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to students addressing behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and school administrators to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate student progress and suggest interventions.
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and staff on effective instructional methods and classroom management practices.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and provide assistance during emergencies.
  • Maintain precise and confidential records of student evaluations, progress, and services rendered.
  • Stay informed on best practices and advancements in the field of school psychology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid IL School Psychologist license.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience as a school psychologist is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
