About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a 13-week contract in Tacoma, Washington.

The primary responsibility of this position is to obtain diagnostic details that help doctors decide on further treatment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain Useful Diagnostic Details: Produce high-quality images of various body parts using x-ray technology, providing valuable insights for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for diagnostic imaging exams, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Quality Patient Care: Deliver timely, compassionate, and quality care to patients, maintaining a safe work environment and promoting national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications: Valid state radiology registration as required by state law, registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
