Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our CT scanning unit, ensuring that all procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of radiologic technologists, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in the CT scanning unit, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that all procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols.
  • Patient Care: Ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and attention, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all needs are met and that all procedures are performed smoothly.
  • Education and Training: Provide ongoing education and training to radiologic technologists, ensuring that they are up-to-date on the latest procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with less than 1 year of experience in CT preferred.
  • Certifications: ARRT Radiography and ARRT Computed Tomography required, Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.
