At JBS USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct scale checks to ensure accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on scales, trolley readers, printers, and alarms to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Assist in the installation and startup of new automated equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with higher-level team members and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems.
  • Complete automation projects assigned by the Automation and Instrumentation Superintendent to improve processes and advance your skill set.
  • Assist in the training of new employees on automated systems and equipment.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in a related industry and job.
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Bachelor's, Associate's, or AAS degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with PLC programming preferred.
