Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor Vital Signs: Check patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, and report any changes to the nursing team.
  • Assist with Medication Administration: Help patients with medication administration, as directed by the nursing team.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure patients' safety and well-being by maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reporting any hazards or concerns to the nursing team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current CNA Certification: Hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Connecticut.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
