Job Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Parker Hannifin Corporation, you will be responsible for developing technically sound and marketable products using imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field of electrical engineering. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test electrical systems, ensuring they meet technical objectives within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical system designs that meet technical requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test electrical systems, ensuring they meet technical objectives within budget and on schedule.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve electrical system designs and processes.
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to ensure electrical system designs meet technical requirements and industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required; 8+ years of engineering experience; aerospace background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hardware development in accordance with RTCA/DO-254.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to motivate others.
  • Focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey knowledge of subject matter, particularly in customer/supplier interaction.
  • Ability to prepare and present clear, technically accurate and documented design explanation.
  • Knowledge of Altium, Jira, DOORS, Matlab, Simulink a plus.
  • Understanding of commercially sensitive information, including how, when, and with whom to share it.
  • Proficient at working across functions within the organization.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural/diverse organization.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo.
