Senior Tax Manager

PODS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our income tax provision under ASC 740.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand companies' book accounting in relation to tax accounting
  • Determine processes to inquire, collect, validate, and summarize data for tax use
  • Review and maintain income tax provision under ASC 740
  • Perform process control to achieve data accuracy and applicability
  • Ensure delivery of tax sections for financial reporting deadlines
  • Coordinate with financial reporting auditors
  • Assist the Head of Tax to establish applicable tax positions
  • Explain tax positions and resolve differences
  • Assist the Head of Tax to prioritize value-added tasks
  • Monitor cross-functional processes for efficiency and completion
  • Coach and train tax associates
  • Assist or manage special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar certification
  • 4+ years of income tax compliance experience
  • 2+ years of income tax accounting (ASC 740) and reporting experience
  • International tax experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting and corporate income taxation
  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
