Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vascular Technologist to join our team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. As a key member of our Level One Trauma Center and IAC-accredited Vascular Lab, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our vascular service practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced-level diagnostic vascular exams, recognizing appropriate indications and distinguishing between normal and abnormal findings.
  • Communicate critical test results to providers, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and quality control programs, driving improvement efforts and resolving issues.
  • Teach and mentor junior vascular technologists, students, residents, and fellows, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Contribute to research projects, including clinical trials within the Vascular Surgery Department.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree from an accredited vascular ultrasound program or allied health discipline.
  • Three years of experience in duplex ultrasound technology and non-invasive vascular exams.
  • Proficiency on all lab equipment, with ability to learn new machines with minimal oversight.
  • Certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
