About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Embedded Cybersecurity Software Engineer to join our team at L3Harris Technologies. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software security products for mobile ad-hoc wireless communications systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and design secure software solutions
  • Develop and debug embedded software security products using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Apply information assurance principles to ensure the security and integrity of our products
  • Work closely with customers and vendors to understand their security requirements and provide solutions
  • Present findings and results to stakeholders and contribute to the development of secure coding guidelines and standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a focus on cybersecurity and embedded systems
  • DoD SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Advanced degrees and certifications in cybersecurity and software engineering are highly desirable
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with C++ and modern object-oriented design and architecture
  • Knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems, such as VxWorks, MQX, FreeRTOS, and SafeRTOS
  • Device driver development experience and security certification, such as CISSP or CEH
  • Experience with HAIPE devices, TEMPEST design technologies, and QUADRANT design techniques
  • Key Management experience and knowledge of Internet Security Protocols and Encryption Protocols
  • Experience with Security ICs, such as TPM, trust and store, and root of trust
  • Development of security architectures or secure network design and experience with secure coding guidelines or standards
  • Open source Linux development and experience with source control repositories, such as Git or Clearcase
  • Test frameworks, such as Google Test/Google Mock, and Agile development methodology and Atlassian tools
  • Machine learning, data analysis, and advanced algorithm design and development, as well as DevOps technologies, such as virtualization, Docker, scripting, and automation
