Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role:
Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer Hybrid to join our team in Edison, New Jersey. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent placement, offering a competitive salary of $60 - $78 per hour.

Job Description:
This role involves providing support and solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our client's enterprise systems. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of information security principles, host configuration, networking, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include researching and validating security solutions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of security threats, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess new vendors and evaluate their security controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree and at least 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a deep understanding of Active Directory, server, endpoint, and network configurations. You should also have experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) concepts, best practices, and platforms, as well as securing public cloud infrastructure assets, including serverless infrastructure, containers, and Kubernetes. Additionally, you should be familiar with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, database activity monitoring processes, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) technologies.
