Job Summary

Riverside Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our nursing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Coordination: Coordinate the staffing needs of the facility for a defined resident population and time frame, while maintaining accurate records related to staffing of the nursing department.
  • Schedule Creation: Create a master schedule, adequately staff the facility's nursing units according to budgeted hours per patient day and budgeted staffing ratio.
  • Daily Scheduling: Make the daily schedules for the nursing department and coordinate with the HR/Payroll coordinator to ensure that appropriate time records are kept.
  • Schedule Updates: Update schedule daily as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Knowledge: Must have knowledge of staffing and orientation schedules.
  • Certification: Current CNA Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: OnShift or Kronos experience strongly preferred.
