Position Title: Culinary Arts Instructor - Adjunct Faculty

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional leadership and communication abilities to fulfill the role of an Adjunct Culinary Arts Instructor. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to guide a group of culinary students in both kitchen and classroom settings. Responsibilities may include overseeing meal service production for an on-campus culinary restaurant, delivering culinary instruction in the classroom, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation protocols in the kitchen, and effectively communicating with students and staff involved in the culinary program.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  2. Current Serv-Safe certification is mandatory.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a full-service restaurant environment, with at least 2 years in a chef or supervisory capacity.
  4. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service.

The number of adjunct instructors hired may vary each semester based on departmental needs and the College's requirements. Please note that there may not be an immediate opening available at the time of your application.
