Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a PICU RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric intensive care unit.

About the Role

The Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill children, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and participating in performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans
  • Monitor all aspects of patient care in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting
  • Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on patient care and disease process and discharge instructions
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
  • Current BLS
  • PALS required within 6 months
  • 1 year of RN experience required
  • Pediatric ICU, Adult ICU or Pediatric experience highly preferred
