Job Overview
AIMS Locum Tenens LLC is seeking a skilled Radiographic Technologist to join the Department of Radiology at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The successful candidate will perform acute care diagnostic imaging, ensuring accurate and timely services in support of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform acute care diagnostic studies, including imaging of extremities, chest, abdomen, and head.
- Ensure correct positioning and technical adjustments for each examination.
- Conduct routine quality control checks on imaging equipment and recognize equipment errors.
- Log all imaging activities in the MHS Genesis system.
- Assist in maintaining daily logs and submitting data for monthly reports.
Requirements
- Graduate from an ARRT Accredited program.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least one year of full-time experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist within the last two years.
