Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac ICU team at St Joseph Medical Center. As a Cardiac ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition and intervention
  • Initiate multiple complex cardiac-related infusions at higher doses
  • Care for patients with invasive lines, such as arterial lines and pulmonary artery catheters
  • Monitor intubated/mechanically ventilated patients, acute post-cardiac surgery patients, and acute trauma patients
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Specialty certifications: CCRN/CMCCSCCHFN (preferred)
  • Previous Cardiac ICU Open Heart Recovery Advanced Heart Failure Impella VAD and ECMO experience (preferred)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire is required
