About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed, accurate designs and plans for each project.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to senior management and clients.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential project risks to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent computer-aided design software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
