Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Monrovia, California.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and instruments for upcoming procedures, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Transport patients, equipment, and specimens throughout the medical center, utilizing proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, contributing to the assessment and development of annual educational plans.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to prioritize work assignments, ensuring completion of patient care activities and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Two years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
