Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and supervise less skilled nursing/health care personnel, and supervise a particular unit on one shift.
  • Education and Training: Instruct individuals, families, and other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and childbirth, and develop health improvement programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies, and ensure that stock of supplies is maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required.
  • Registration and Certification: Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri required, and current AHA Healthcare Provider training (BCLS) required.
  • Experience: 0-5 years of experience in a Community Health Center.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to holistically care for patients.
  • Computer Skills: Good computer skills including the use of office procedures and terminology.
  • Transportation: Must have Reliable Transportation.
