Job Summary:

As an Equipment Coordinator at Swift Transportation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to determine whether equipment can be refurbished within a reasonable timeframe or if new equipment needs to be purchased. You will effectively and accurately purchase quality IT equipment for the KNX enterprise at the best price, negotiate bids, and prepare price lists. Additionally, you will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, checking requisitions, conducting surveys, meeting with sales representatives, and coordinating delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine if equipment can be refurbished or if new equipment needs to be purchased
• Purchase quality IT equipment for the KNX enterprise at the best price
• Negotiate bids and prepare price lists
• Issue purchase orders and check requisitions
• Conduct surveys and meet with sales representatives
• Coordinate delivery schedules

Requirements:

• 3+ years of help desk experience
• Associate's degree in a technical-related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Certification in applicable network technology at the administrator level preferred
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems
