Aerospace Quality Inspector Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team at Verify Inc. in Hunstville, AL. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all engineering design requirements records on the AS9102 forms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with Aerospace Standard AS9102.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all engineering design requirements records on the AS9102 forms.
  • Confirmation that the First Article Inspection Record (FAIR) is accurate and completed for a part number or assembly and that all part, product, and characteristic accountability aspects are addressed prior to approval.
  • Provide Source Inspection on all parts prior to shipment.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have at least 3 years knowledge and practical experience of the AS9102 standard.
  • Strong background (Minimum 3 years) in manufacturing in the aerospace or military / defense industries required.
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of practical experience inspecting aerospace components and assemblies is necessary as well as knowledge of applicable industry standards is highly desired.
  • Must know and understand GD&T.
  • Must understand Purchasing documents, specifications, shop planning, drawings, 3D models and other technical instructions.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Net-Inspect software is a plus, but not required.
