Key Responsibilities:

Regular Attendance Required

  • Ensure that manufacturing, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently assemble components according to approved specifications.
  • Interpret blueprints and confirm the necessary parts prior to assembly. Proficiently operate hand and power tools.
  • Utilize schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, prints, pick lists, photos, and instructions to guide work.
  • Notify supervisors of any part or equipment defects to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Identify and comprehend basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components commonly used in assembly processes.
  • Review shop orders and similar documentation to ascertain requirements. Retrieve parts, materials, and supplies from designated staging areas.
  • Engage in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Tools and Equipment Utilized:

Air and power-driven tools, including but not limited to: hand drills, drill presses, impact guns, grinders, die grinders, cut-off wheels, DA sanders, dynafiles, wrenches, air guns, heat guns, and stud welders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in general assembly work or equivalent specialized training.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Willingness to commit to a flexible schedule and ensure punctuality for shifts.
  • Experience with both power and hand tools is essential.
  • Basic math and communication skills are required.
