Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Oakpoint. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by a Registered Nurse, including vital sign monitoring, blood glucose measurements, and intake/output recording.
  • Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities, and report any changes to nursing staff.
  • Provide crisis intervention and respond to patient requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist with maintaining patient rooms and common areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant, preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
