Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Sorting and Finishing team as a Sorting and Finishing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of Tiles being processed to ensure adherence to our quality standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain equipment or processes, reporting any issues to the Supervisor.
  • Master Sample Creation: Create master samples to determine finished product quality.
  • Packaging and Finishing: Verify adherence to packaging and finishing specifications.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance to Portobello Policies and Procedures.
  • Standard Operating Procedures: Follow Standard Operating Procedures for work performed.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate Automated manufacturing equipment and a forklift as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, organization skills, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
  • Accurate Measuring: Accurate measuring and record-keeping skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
