About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families during this critical time.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, and take appropriate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient responses and outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
  • At least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification.
