Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill orders from stored inventory, meeting customer requirements and inspection/testing processes.
  • Ship orders within time commitments and complete all documentation, communicating with lead/supervisor regarding any fulfillment issues or problems.
  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials and product, verifying against written orders and returning defective materials.
  • Ensure documentation, such as packing lists and shipping labels, is complete, accurate, and processed appropriately.
Job Specifications:
  • Acquiring basic knowledge of job content, practices, and procedures, still learning skills necessary to fully perform job.
  • Performing functions that are routine in nature with minimal complexity or variation.
  • Work performed under supervision, receiving detailed instructions to perform tasks.
  • Following priorities provided to perform work.
  • Interacting mostly with immediate peers within assigned work group, with limited interaction and information exchange with other internal departments or work groups.
  • Impact of decisions typically contained within assigned work.
Requirements:
  • Typically less than one year of work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
  • Requires ability to stand for prolonged periods and consistently/repetitively lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Overtime occurs frequently and is required based on business need.
  • May require forklift certification.
  • May be required to meet specified visual acuity standards for final inspections.
